Reviews Are In! Whitney Linen Debuts First Ever Pre-Fall Collection to Critical Acclaim

Whitney Linen’s FashionCAN runway show on Wednesday, March 1, was a fabulous success. Whitney Linen would like to thank Yorkdale Shopping Centre , The Canadian Arts & Fashion Awards, Monarch Events Group , all the sponsors, and our loyal fans and clients for all their support.

Whitney Linen’s Pre-Fall 2017 collection is the label’s first foray into transitional weather apparel. The collection, co-designed by Franciska Veress, is centred on an autumnal palette of burgundy, black, and beige linen, tweeds through boucle, and accented with fringe and leather trim. Linen knits and Italian linen blends offer consumers the benefits and luxury of linen combined with ease of care. Whitney Linen once again transforms the ancient fabric into contemporary essentials through innovative designs.

Whitney Linen continues to push the boundaries of linen this time with burlap effects and Riviera-ready pieces. Hands-down the best I’ve seen from WL so far. This is an excellent resort collection.” – Spiro Mandylor, It’s All Style To Me

“A breath of fresh air!!! This year’s runway collection made me want to go back to summer, with the casual and breezy outfit the came on to the runway. Sometime keeping it simple is everything and Whitney Linen’s collection is a proof of that.” – Harija Rajiv, My Life; My Story

“Inspired by her coastal upbringing, Whitney Linen’s Whitney Westwood showcased a range of her contemporary essentials for women and men.  Perfect beach cover-ups, casual everyday styles, and evening pieces were done in a neutral palette of black, white, and beige.  A touch of red added a pop of colour to the collection’s final looks.” – Fashion Savage
